Ford Motor Company has issued a recall on these vehicles. As to compensation for those who have lost homes and property, there has been no official response to me or in any press reports that I have seen, as to the issue of liability or compensation by either Ford Motor Company or the local (Fort Myers, Florida) dealer John Scanlon of Fort Myers Lincoln-Mercury.
